Pattern

So I've been trying to do some different styles lately and this week's I decided to focus on doing some surface design. I tried to keep everything very loose and free. It was fun to do, I wish I could get a bedspread made in this pattern.

Happy Halloween!

So halloween is my favorite Holiday of the year (by far)... what's not to love: costumes, theatrics, chocolate, the color orange, need I say more.  I have 3 different costumes for this year, (top that). So in honor of the most magical time of year here is my skullrific halloween print, I like it so much I might change the saying to: "Bad to the Bone" so it can be a year round print.

So I'm trying out a new style for this week's illustration. It's a little more loose and I'm trying o use more colored shapes instead of my usual black line work.  It's fun to do something different. I think this print would look adorable in a little girl's room. 

Let your spirit fly

So this week's illustration is actually a painting. I've been doing so much of my illustrations digitally I've been missing the messiness of paint! So it felt great to get back to doing my hands-on work. The only problem is when you make a mistake you can't use command Z (undo). This is done on a wood board with acrylic paint is around 18 x 24.
