Laughter

So my favorite thing to do is laugh, and I laugh loud, I mean really loud.. loud enough people sometimes stop on the street and stare at me... but that doesn't stop me, nope, I laugh so hard I snort. Yup, that's me... so this week's illustration is all about a reminder to myself to keep up the good work :)

 I wrote the copy for this illustration a long time ago while I was living in New York. I decided to re-illustrate it. The type reads: Magic third eyes and one too many martinis do not mix. Enjoy this illustration stirred not shaken.

Instant sunshine

I originally did this hand lettering for a work project I was doing and didn't end up using it but really liked the simplicity of it so decided to use it for this week's illustration, I just whipped up a grey skies pattern threw in a little sun and there you have it. I think this would look super cute in a kids nursery!

So if anyone knows me, they know I'm a bit hooked on astrology... So I decided its high time I do an astrology series with my illustration. I decided to start with the first sign of the Zodiac, Aries. I am married to an Aries, my best friend is an aries and so is my mother. I feel like I'm magnet for them. Good thing my sign (Sagittarius)  is quite compatible with them.

My favorite thing about Aries, is their uncanny drive to be the first in EVERYTHING... Whether its being first in wining games, or having the newest technology before anybody else, they will win! So this print is based on the part of their personality.
