Foxes and Rabbits

Springtime is here and I decided to do some 'springy' animals this week! I feel like foxes are totally trendy right now so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and do one myself! And now i'm going to go outside and enjoy the 80 degree sunny weather!

King of the Jungle

Here this week's illustration. A lion and a Giraffe - I guess I can't stop with ideas for kids rooms. This would be oober cute with a jungle theme.  RAAARRRRRR!!!

Raindrops - Art Print

So I decided to make a print version of the original painting "Raindrops" I did. I reworked it a little bit and am pretty happy with how it came out.  

Pear-iffic - Illustration 11

Pears are by far my favorite fruit to draw and I think most of the art community must feel this way because as I was researching pears I came across tons of beautiful paintings and drawings of pears. I feel like it must have to do with the fact the shape of a pear resembles the female form and artists sort of gravitate to drawing that.  I made these illustrations very graphic and pattern heavy and worked on a hand drawn font that's very girly looking. I think these prints would be pretty cute hung up in a little breakfast nook area. Hope you like them!

Illustration-o-saurus

Okay so I'm a week late on Illustration 9 - but its has a been a crazy week! Between working a ton of overtime, doing some freelance jobs and planning my friend Julie's shower its been oober busy. But enough whining, lets cut to the chase, this week and lasts week illustrations (9 &10) are for my friends Jake and Julie's son Oliver's nursery. I can't stop with the kid drawings apparently.  I really wanted Julie to decorate her nursery in a dinosaur theme, and now she has too because I gave her these prints, ha ha ha ha!. Okay here they are hope you like them!
